Moses Sila

Moses work focuses on the role Agrimarketing on development of farm and food businesses specifically on agricultural process, marketing strategies, organizational development and marketing linkages.

As a business coach and for the past 8 years he has worked with small businesses in horticulture and the nut sub-sector to foster international markets linkages and compliance to global standards. He has participated in the improvement of the existing fair trade standards to make them result oriented.

He has worked with international research institutes such as Food Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), International Institute of Tropical Agriculture (IITA) and International Potato Center (CIP) local institutes such as Tegemeo Institute of Egerton University on research and development. Regionally he has worked in Tanzania on a moral economy project aimed at understanding enabling conditions for growth for small farm enterprises. Moses has supervised and mentored several mid-level managers. He is currently a board member of react-cert – a local certification body in Kenya and also a board member for a US based NGO known as Upendo with interest in health and agriculture in Kenya.
